It is specifically designed to work with USB PD controllerto provide a total solution for USB PD or a programmable power adapter. The WT7162RHUG24A helps toimprove the overall eficiency and optimize the product performance. t operates in quasi-resonant (QR) modeduring heavy load and operates in discontinuous conduction mode with valley switching during light load. The WT7162RHUG24A minimizes the components counts and is available in a QFN 8*8 package. lt providesimportant protection features, such as Brown ln/Out, VDD OVP, OLP, OCP and Output Short Circuit Protection.Without an external LDO circuit,the WT7162RHUG24A can easily provide 3.3V~21V (7x volts) wide-range outputvoltage application to effectively reduce total BOM cost.
